We use a highly concentrated formula of plant-derived natural oils, concretes and isolates, set in a food-grade (non-denatured), organic alcohol base. Why is there sediment in my perfume? Like a natural wine, we choose not to filter our fragrances, so sediment is nothing of concern and doesn’t impact the shelf life of the perfume or the fragrance profile; it’s just a natural reaction that has taken place. How can I make the fragrance last longer? Moisturize before you apply your perfume, as the drier your skin, the more quickly it will absorb the fragrance oils. ABEL - Green Cedar Eau de Parfum | Vegan, Clean Beauty + Non-Toxic Fragrance (0.5 fl oz | 15 ml)...I'm so thrilled that I got a chance to experience this parfum. The presentation and fragrance are spot on for me. The box and bottle are simple, yet luxurious. From the notecard inside with shiny embossing, to the magnetic bottle cap. I have fragrance allergies and usually they're triggered by cheap fragrance oils like plug-ins, air fresheners, and body sprays or heavy perfumes. So I try and use natural essential oils for fragrances so that I know exactly what's in them and can avoid the stuff that makes me sneeze. I also go for lighter scents to avoid migraines. This fits the bill in every way for me. It's a light scent that I can't constantly smell while wearing, but I get a whiff of it when I start moving around and heating up. With that said, this is not one of those fragrances where people will know you've entered the room, or where you leave a trace everywhere you've been. It's more of an intimate fragrance where only those closest to you will know you're wearing it. Not only is it a perfectly light scent for both a man or woman who like unique fragrances, it also happens to be a scent that has great meaning to me. My grandpa was a woodworker, owned a hardware store with wood shop and a lumber mill. So I grew up around sawdust and learned to work with wood myself. My grandfather is now gone and so are the businesses and my time to wood work, but that smell isn't one I'll forget. And now with the help of this parfum, those fond memories are brought back. I am truly loving this scent. For those who aren't familiar with that, if you had a pet hamster, think of the fresh sawdust chips, or cedar sachets you place in your closet and drawers. Another thing I noticed with this scent is when you first spray it on, it has an almost wood burning smell that quickly fades into just the cedar wood. So for some, that have been camping in a cedar forest, I imagine you might be reminded of camping and a camp fire. Either way this scent really grounds you if you're someone who appreciates all things nature. However, ABEL has other fragrances I have heard good things about if woodworkers and lumberjacks aren't your thing. :)
