Im a LEO and just got this for daily carry of a Kimber Custom TLE/RL II. First thing out of the bag the holster seemed to fit the gun well but when I put in on with pants the gun would not come out of the holster. With my belt cinched tight the pistol was biting into the indention around the trigger guard. It also seemed to be snagging on the indention on the slide cutout. I took my butane lighter and slowly heated these two areas. I placed my finger inside and as soon as I felt the smallest amount of heat I stopped and inserted the pistol. I then gave the pistol alittle outward pressure against the kydex of the holster causing the two areas to reform and take a slightly less aggressive hold on the pistol. After two treatments the holster draws and holsters great without any more snags. This is not the first time I have had to custom fit a holster so I did not take off any stars. I imagine it is pretty hard to make a holster that fits every 1911 out there and it was not a hard fix. Do not be deterred just take it slow if you have to do the same.I found I like the holster how I received it in a high carry mode. It holds my pistol tight to the side and even with a 10rnd Chip mag in conceals well with just a tshirt. Im a muscular guy with wide shoulders and a narrow waist so that helps. As for comfort I believe this is the most comfortable IWB holster I have bought to date especially for a 1911. The hooks are wide apart and keeps the holster in place and doesn't pull to badly on my pants. The gun is heavy but with the wide hooks and the leather body shield it feels great and Im now going to be getting another one for my Glocks. I really like the high carry position and think its going to be much more comfortable on the motorcycle than my other holsters.
