All right, let's cut to the chase: Annick Goutal's Eau D' Hadrien ain't cheap. For the price of one 3.5 ounce bottle of Goutal's magic potion, you could buy ten bottles of Old Spice. The question, I suppose, is whether you want to smell like an English sea captain, or..., the Count of Monte Cristo? For me, that's a no brainer....Eau D' Hadrien has a bright, woodsy, citrus scent, (to my nose, there's a lot of lime in there). A little bit goes a long way - a single spritz and you're good to go. Goutal recommends it for "evening wear" - but that's not the sort'a world I live in. I've worn Eau D' Hadrien as my "signature scent" for more than ten years. It's unusual enough so that it turns an occasional head, but subtle and masculine enough so that it doesn't get in the way of doing your usual day-to-day business.Cologne is an extremely personal thing. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, take a chance on Eau D' Hadrien.
