I didn't purchase the Crosby and Taylor Fleur de Lys measuring cups w/ pewter post without first spending many months of tedious research. I knew this beautiful, American made pewter set would become a heirloom piece and I wanted to make 100% certain I was ready to make this investment. The Fleur de Lys pattern is exquisite and slightly different on each cup handle. So beautiful and artistic. The cups feel so good "in the hand" and are weighty. Not too weighty to use, but solid and strong. It makes baking and measuring so enjoyable. I combined this stand-alone Fleur de Lys measuring cups set with the Fleur de Lys measuring spoons set w/ matching pewter strip because I have limited counter space. The pair are displayed near each other in my kitchen and catch my eye. Purchasing this set defintely wasn't an impulse decision, but after many months of deliberate thought, I am so happy I didn't buy an imposter. I am proud that Crosby and Taylor is an American made company. These measuring cups would make an outstanding bridal gift to the woman who loves to cook and appreciates fine craftsmenship. The set comes in a nice box for gift giving, too.
