Bought these to replace my entry level long drop tektro R315 brakes on my Boardman 8.9 SLR. I could immediately feel a difference in power and smooth modulation at the lever where going downhill at a good speed with the R315 they'd produce some slight judder as they struggled the TRP RG957 confidently will pull you harder to a stop or scrub speed off smoothly. They are clearly built to a next level standard than the tektro's and the castings are solid the fittings are all stainless so should be pretty weatherproof if looked after. Although a high price at £166 I paid there really is very little choice of high end long drop calipers and these I'd argue are the best get em while you can.
