Over the past year, our microwave has lost the ability to use multiple buttons. Last week, the button for the exhaust fan stopped working. This was the last straw; I ordered this and installed it. Installation took about an hour and that was because I was extra careful and took my time. All buttons work now and I expect this to extend our microwave's life another couple of years. Beats having to spend $800 on a new microwave.
