These tiles are beautiful! We used them to tile our kitchen ceiling (and to match our hammered copper sink). I would recommend that you have two people to install the tiles because they aren't rigid. With only one person installing, they flop down as you are trying to glue them up, but with two people, it's quite easy. My husband and I installed these ourselves (DIY-ers with some decent skills can do this!). You also need to use the right adhesive (a polymer-based interior construction adhesive) and not something like liquid nails. Using a polymer-based interior construction adhesive allows you to slide the tiles around a little so you can get the perfect alignment with the other seams or with your laser/chalk line. The adhesive also allows you to stick the whole tile to the ceiling so it doesn't flop, while still giving you time and viscosity to adjust/slide/move the tile into the precise placement. We ran out of adhesive toward the end and tried to use a liquid nails type product instead -- total nightmare! ...can't slide the tiles, dries too fast giving you no adjustment time, etc. Another thing to watch out for is that the tiles come with a protective plastic film on each tile. You need to take this off before you install the tiles! We didn't notice the film at first, and we installed 4 tiles before we realized it. It was a little tricky getting the film off once installed, so it's better to remove it beforehand. It's an almost invisible film, so you have to look for it very closely, and you need fingernails to start at the corner to peel it off. I would highly recommend these tiles. Once up, they look like real quality, metal. Very pretty!
